Procurement Engineer – CCS Project
Location: Padeswood, Wales
Contract: Outside IR35
Duration: 12‑month renewable contract (potential through 2029)
Overview
Supporting the CCS programme’s engineered equipment and construction packages, the Procurement Engineer will manage sourcing, tendering, technical queries, and vendor delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop RFQs, manage tenders, and support bid evaluations.
* Negotiate with suppliers and align with NEC/OEM contract frameworks.
* Coordinate with engineering on specs, changes, and documentation.
* Oversee expediting, FATs, and on‑time equipment delivery.
* Track procurement schedules and supplier performance.
Requirements
* Procurement/supply chain experience on industrial/process or energy projects.
* Ability to read drawings, P&IDs, and engineering specs.
* Vendor management and expediting experience.
* CIPS/engineering background beneficial.
* UK Right to Work; site and supplier travel required.
