Job Title: Crushing and Screening Fitter
Job Purpose: The Crushing and Screening Fitter is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing crushing and screening equipment used in construction, mining, and quarry operations. This includes troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, ensuring equipment runs efficiently, and minimizing downtime.

Key Responsibilities:
* Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine and preventative maintenance on crushing and screening machinery. Repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems of crushers, screens, conveyors, and related equipment. Troubleshoot and diagnose faults on crushing and screening plant equipment.
* Installation & Commissioning: Assist in the installation and commissioning of new crushing and screening equipment. Ensure equipment is installed in compliance with company and industry standards.
* Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations. Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with safety standards. Perform risk assessments and hazard identification before beginning work.
* Equipment Inspection & Reporting: Conduct regular inspections, complete detailed reports, and maintain records of maintenance and equipment history.
* Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving: Respond to breakdowns, repair equipment, and work with engineers on complex issues.
* Customer Interaction: Provide technical support and assist in training site personnel.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Experience: Minimum 3 years in maintenance and repair of crushing and screening machinery. Industry experience preferred.
* Technical Skills: Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Ability to read manuals, diagrams, and schematics. Proficient with diagnostic and testing tools.
* Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Relevant health and safety certifications preferred. Valid driver's license.
* Physical Requirements: Ability to work in challenging environments and perform heavy manual labor.
* Personal Skills: Problem-solving, analytical skills, teamwork, and communication skills.
Desirable Skills:
