MEICA Commissioning Engineer - Contract - Outside IR35 - Shropshire / Staffordshire areas
An experienced MEICA Commissioning Engineer is required to support wastewater treatment upgrade projects across the Midlands for an established water sector engineering contractor.
The Role
* Lead MEICA commissioning on wastewater treatment upgrade schemes
* Commission mechanical, electrical, ICA, control and automation systems
* Manage FAT/SAT, testing, verification and handover
* Produce commissioning plans, test scripts and documentation
* Coordinate with project teams, OEMs and client representatives
* Troubleshoot and resolve commissioning issues
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality and environmental standards

* £400–£500 per day (Outside IR35)
* Minimum 6-month contract with strong likelihood of extension

About you
* Proven experience as a MEICA Commissioning Engineer
* Strong background in wastewater treatment upgrades or water utilities
* Competent across mechanical, electrical and ICA systems
* Strong technical and problem-solving skills
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regionally
