Senior Manager – SAP S / 4HANA Solution Architect
London or UK-wide with travel up to 60 percent

Our client is a major advisory and technology consulting group delivering large scale SAP S4HANA and business transformation programmes across global and UK brands. They operate with a flat, startup-driven culture that encourages autonomy, bottom up thinking and rapid decision making. The team has built a strong track record in landing complex S4 deliveries and they are expanding to support a growing pipeline.
They are looking for a Senior Manager level Solution Architect to take ownership of solution design across end to end S4 programmes. This is a hands on architecture role with full responsibility for shaping technical strategy, leading design decisions, advising senior stakeholders and guiding delivery teams.
The work
* Design, configure and deploy S4HANA solutions aligned to best practice and architectural standards.
* Lead solution architecture assessments with senior client stakeholders.
* Translate business requirements into detailed technical designs and delivery plans.
* Resolve major design decisions using an adopt not adapt approach.
* Define delivery frameworks, architecture artefacts and mobilisation plans for programme teams.
* Support business development, shaping proposals and contributing to pre sales.
* Coach, develop and supervise consultants across multiple workstreams.
What they are looking for
* Strong experience delivering SAP into the Utilities sector across water, electricity transmission, electricity distribution, nuclear or renewables.
* Minimum of two full lifecycle S4HANA implementations in Utilities.
* Deep technical knowledge in at least one core SAP domain: Finance, Procurement, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, Service or Asset Management (EAM).
* Proven background defining solution strategy and leading design across multiple end to end programmes.
* Ability to absorb new SAP technologies quickly and work in a fast moving landscape.
* Comfortable advising senior stakeholders and explaining complex designs in clear, simple language.
* Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills.
* Pre sales experience and confidence supporting bids.
* Excellent written and verbal communication.
