Remuneration
£50,000–£55,000 base + up to £12,000 commission + up to £10,000 bonus.

Role Responsibilities
* Field sales role selling a full range of manufactured floor coverings / carpet tiles.
* Promote multi‑loop and low level loop carpet tiles as well as ranges of FRS (full repeatable scroll).
* Sell into architects and interior designers (A&D) and other stakeholders: fit‑out contractors, property developers, universities, colleges, end users, building surveyors, letting agents, estate management, local authorities and main contractors.
* Develop focus over time, spending more time with A&D specifiers and transactional flooring contractors.
* Work alongside another trade field sales professional responsible for account managing direct flooring contractor accounts in the area.
* Inherit an area with an approximate turnover of £1.2 m and an existing project bank.
* Target commercial buildings (office blocks) and education sector (schools, universities & colleges) with a small portion of healthcare projects.
* Utilise ABI leads and the in‑house CRM database.
* Engage on project sizes from 500 m², typically £10 000 and upward in value.
Qualifications & Skills
* Proven track record of selling into the A&D specification marketplace.
* Industry experience ideally in flooring/carpet.
* Open to selling interior products such as wall coverings, fabric, ceiling, partitioning or furniture.
* Practical, tactile sales background rather than technical, with an aesthetic focus.
* Team player with energy, passion and enthusiasm.
* Strong commercial and presentation skills.
