Ideal Hero Will Have
- Strong experience in a customer-facing food service environment
- Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role is desirable
- Confident in handling tills, cashing up, and overseeing daily front-of-house operations
- Awareness of handling dietary needs and allergen information
- The ability to stay calm, organised, and efficient under pressure during busy periods
Responsibilities
- Deliver friendly and efficient service to all customers, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
- Take orders accurately, manage till operations, and handle payments confidently
- Monitor stock levels for front-of-house items (e.g., packaging, condiments, drinks) and assist with reordering
- Cash up tills at the end of shifts and ensure accurate handling of daily takings
- Organise and support team members during service to ensure smooth daily operations
- Take ownership of the restaurant when the Manager is off
- Follow hygiene and safety procedures, keeping service areas clean and organised
