Job Title:
Finance Manager
Salary:
Up to £70,000 depending on experience
Hours:
37.5 hours per week
Location:
Walsall - Hybrid - 3 days per week in the office
The Role:
1. Manage the financial operations of a Business Unit, focusing on Software products, and partner with the Business Unit Management Team.
2. Provide financial support across the Business Unit, ensuring achievement of financial targets, establishing contract profitability, and advising on business initiatives.
3. Design and maintain financial processes and analysis to maximize resources, minimize costs, and optimize profitability.
4. Develop and maintain pricing models for new business, especially in software.
5. Coordinate with the India Finance Team to ensure accurate month-end data and reconciliations.
6. Prepare monthly management accounts, forecasts, and management information.
7. Maintain financial control through monitoring P&L, cash budgets, forecasts, and control processes.
8. Support statutory accounting and external audits of Managed Services accounts.
What you’ll need:
1. Relevant experience, preferably in a business partnering role.
2. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel) and finance software (Oracle is a plus).
3. Strong analytical, technical, and communication skills.
4. Ability to work under pressure, with attention to detail and accuracy.
5. Teamwork and initiative, with a flexible attitude.
6. Qualified CIMA, ACCA, or ACA with 2+ years PQE.
