My client is looking for a Purchasing Executive to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a modern office environment and develop your career plus, they’ll fund qualifications for the right candidate!
Duties Include:
1. Raise and manage purchase orders and work orders to meet operational needs.
2. Maintain accurate records of suppliers, lead times, and pricing to support decision-making.
3. Track deliveries, monitor schedules, and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely supply of goods.
4. Act as the main point of contact for suppliers, ensuring products meet company and customer requirements.
5. Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate orders and fulfil requests efficiently.
6. Organise and store relevant documents and order confirmations accurately.
Requirements for this role:
7. Previous experience in a procurement, purchasing, or supply chain support role.
8. Prior experience within a manufacturing or engineering business
9. Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
10. Comfortable using business systems / ERP software.
