Dunnington C of E Primary School is seeking to recruit a passionate, resilient and empathetic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work within our Specialist Resource Provision opening in September 2025. We would like to appoint an experienced, highly motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant for 30 hours per week. The role will be supporting pupils who have EHCPs with SEMH. The successful candidate will have a passion for supporting children with additional needs and be able to use their initiative to adapt to the needs of the children within our provision. The candidate will be expected to use a nurturing approach and develop supportive relationships with all pupils. We aspire to appoint 2 Level 3 Specialist Teaching Assistants. The successful candidate will: need to be creative, understand how children learn and be able to form excellent relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues. have experience of working with pupils with significant needs predominantly work within the resource provision, but you must also be prepared to work within a whole class setting if appropriate work with children who have additional needs (SEND) in addition to undertaking other duties which support the education and well-being of all pupils be expected to maintain the high standards established in our school and use strategies in liaison with the teacher to support pupils to achieve their full potential be expected to prepare, maintain and use any equipment/resources required in order to deliver the planned and relevant leaning activity have strong organisational and interpersonal skills have energy and enthusiasm with a positive attitude be passionate about working with children who have SEND needs You will join a supportive team and have the chance to grow professionally in a rewarding environment.
