Employment Associate - Leading International Law Firm - Up to £85,000 salary
We are partnering with a highly regarded international law firm to recruit an Employment Associate (3+ PQE) for their Leeds office. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading Employment & Immigration practice that advises financial institutions, FTSE 100 companies, and major UK and international organisations.
The role offers exposure to high-quality contentious and non-contentious employment work across sectors including financial services, retail and consumer, energy, and transport.
The opportunity:
You will work closely with a diverse client base on complex employment matters while being part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team. The role offers high-quality work, genuine responsibility, and the chance to contribute to innovative ways of delivering legal services, including the use of AI and other emerging tools.
Key responsibilities:
* Advising clients on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters
* Supporting clients with complex employment tribunal litigation, whistleblowing issues, and business protection matters
* Assisting with major HR projects including restructurings, outsourcing exercises, and organisational change programmes
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships while delivering high-quality legal advice
* Working collaboratively with colleagues across the Employment team and wider firm practice areas
* Contributing to innovative service delivery, including the use of technology and AI within legal practice
About you:
* Qualified Employment Lawyer with 3+ years’ PQE
* Experience across both contentious and non-contentious employment matters
* Strong client-handling skills and the ability to build trusted relationships
* A proactive and detail-oriented professional with strong organisational and analytical skills
* A collaborative team player who is keen to develop their expertise within a supportive and high-performing team
