An opportunity has arisen for up to full time IDVAs to join our Domestic Abuse Service on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave for up to months.
The IDVAs will work with people at high risk of harm from Domestic Abuse in a variety of capacities including front door duty functions, - support and delivery of group-based sessions.

Through trauma-informed practice and strong, collaborative partnerships, we will protect and empower those affected, prevent harm before it happens, and hold those harming others to account. Our IDVA’s are crucial to the delivery of high-quality services to those harmed by domestic abuse. You will need to be a great team player and be used to responding quickly to high risk and the needs of service users.
Experience in a similar role or experience in providing support to vulnerable people would be preferable but is not essential.

The posts are hybrid roles which means that time will be spent working at home, working in the community with clients, and working from the office base at Wyvern House in Winsford. however, the team works across the whole of the Cheshire West and Chester area and adopts a flexible and mobile approach to working.
