Job Title: Senior Manufacturing Engineer – Build Strategy

What you’ll be doing:
* Liaising with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Projects, Supply Chain and Engineering to resolve issues arising during Design.
* Applying problem-solving tools and techniques on during the design phases from PFMEA to design for manufacture
* Capturing lessons from build activities and integrating them into strategy to prevent recurrence
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
* Minimum HNC or equivalent experience in a STEM discipline
* Good understanding of engineering drawings and CAD models
* Experience using problem-solving tools like Lean Six Sigma
Desirable:
* Experience engaging with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve engineering/planning issues
* Familiarity with SAP / Teamcenter
* Understanding of submarine build strategy
