About the role:
* Develop Strategies that will enable the department to grow sales profitably.
* 'Product first' approach: you can identify and inject excitement, trend, and newness to the ranges.
* Plan ranges, taking into account sales data, price architecture and brand dna.
* Trading the ranges and acting quickly to identify new opportunities.
* Brand Recruitment / Building excellent brand relationships.
* Effectively manage your team, delegating resources and workload while ensuring team members are motivated and focused.
About you:
* Impressive experience as a fashion buyer within the Womenswear Branded market.
* Minimum
* Naturally influential leader with the ability to see 'the bigger picture'
* Entrepreneurial and willing to 'roll your sleeves up' and assist with the administrative processes of buying.
* A confident and persuasive communicator, you'll be able to present your proposals and gather support throughout the business and with external brand partners.
* Extensive knowledge of current and potential market and fashion trends with the ability to translate them into commercially inspiring ranges.
* Able to build and maintain productive relationships with suppliers and licensors.
* A team player, you will work collaboratively with merchandisers, designers, technologists, suppliers and licensors to create a commercially successful range.
