Role Overview
The day to day duties of the role will be programming, setting and operating CNC turners and ideally borers. This is a high skilled role with a lot of precision one-off work. You will be self‑inspecting your own work.
Pay & Shift Schedule
Monday - Thursday: 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM (overtime available)
Friday: 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Saturday: Overtime 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Responsibilities
* Programming CNC turners and borers
* Setting up machines
* Operating CNC machinery
* Performing self‑inspection of finished work
Required Skills and Experience
* Apprentice trained
* Experience of heavy machining (essential)
* Programming with Siemens and Fanuc controls
* Overhead crane experience preferable
* Ability to read engineering drawings
