Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Cook to join our culinary team. Responsibilities
Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to established recipes.
Ensure all food production meets quality standards and adheres to food safety regulations.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new dessert offerings and seasonal specials.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pastry station, including proper storage of ingredients.
Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed.
Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Support other kitchen staff as required during busy service periods.
Skills
Proven experience in food production and preparation within a professional kitchen setting.
Strong culinary skills with a focus on baking techniques and pastry arts.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
