Job introduction
This role is within the HR, Learning and Resource Scheduling Team in the Corporate Systems department, part of the Technology and Media Operations division.
Main responsibilities:
As a Senior Business Analyst within Corporate Systems, you will help modernize and simplify the current Systems landscape within HR, Learning, and Resource Scheduling platforms.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, suppliers, and technical teams to ensure solutions deliver benefits and align with business goals.
The role is part of the Resource Scheduling Programme, responsible for Business Analysis & System Design workstreams, collaborating with both permanent and contractor colleagues.
The programme aims to transform resource scheduling at the BBC, working with editorial, commercial, and technical stakeholders. Extensive programme experience in Business Analysis, including workshop facilitation, mentoring, stakeholder management, and change leadership, is required.

Essential
* Degree in Business Management, Enterprise IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
* Knowledge of business and data analysis tools and techniques, including requirements engineering, process mapping, and workshop facilitation.
* Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
* Ability to manage relationships, encourage discussion, and challenge appropriately.
* Understanding of technical product management and development methodologies.
* Experience leading Business Analysis in a programme environment, in a technical setting.
* Ability to simplify complex problems and explore systematically.
* Excellent planning and organizational skills.
* Resilience, initiative, and ability to mentor others.
* Stakeholder management skills at multiple organizational levels.
* Influence and work effectively with senior stakeholders to achieve objectives.
Desirable
* Certifications such as ECBA, CCBA, or BCAP.
* Experience in media or similar multinational organizations.
* Knowledge of Resource Scheduling processes and products.
* Experience leading change initiatives at programme level.
