INTERNAL SECONDMENT – FIXED TERM TO 31st March 2026 We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Patient Pathway Navigator to join our dynamic Gastroenterology CNS Team at NHS Fife. This fixed-term post has been created to support and cross-cover the existing Pathway Navigator role, directly supporting our Clinical Nurse Specialists. The successful candidate will play a vital role in improving clinical throughput and ensuring patients receive timely access to investigations and treatment. Key Responsibilities: • Provide administrative support across key patient pathways including IBD, immunosuppression, liver disease, PEG • Maintain and update pathway databases and coordinate MDT meetings. • Liaise with patients, clinicians, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth and timely progression through care pathways. • Identify and escalate delays to support service improvement and meet national and local targets. Essential Criteria: • Experience working in multidisciplinary teams and managing complex administrative processes. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Proficient in IT systems and data entry. • Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks under pressure. Desirable: • Knowledge of Gastroenterology services and NHS databases. • Experience within acute hospital setting or Primary Care.
