Graduate Teaching Assistant – Secondary School
Milk Education are working in partnership with a friendly and inclusive secondary school who are looking to appoint a Graduate Teaching Assistant to start ASAP until the end of the school year.
This role is ideal for graduates from any subject background who are interested in gaining valuable school-based experience, particularly those considering a future career in teaching, education, psychology, youth work, or pastoral support.
The Role:
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:
1. Support students across KS3 and KS4 in and out of the classroom
2. Work alongside teachers to help deliver engaging lessons
3. Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students where required
4. Assist with behaviour management and classroom engagement
5. Support pupils with additional learning or pastoral needs
About You:
6. A graduate of any subject specialism
7. UK experience working with children or young people
8. Relevant experience may include: Youth centres or community-based projects 1:1 or small-group tutoring Sports coaching or sports clubs Summer camps, mentoring, or volunteering
9. Enthusiastic, reliable, and confident supporting young people
10. Keen to gain hands-on experience within a secondary school setting
