Do you have a passion for English and a talent for inspiring students?
We are seeking to recruit an outstanding and committed Lecturer to join our amazing English and Maths team.
You would need to provide high quality teaching, learning and assessment to learners and students, across a range of levels within the subject areas, from Entry Level (KS1) to Level 2 equivalent GCSE. Based on your own experience; we aim to align your strengths and skills, this could also be dependent on the needs of the faculty.
What you'll do:
1. Design, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in English.
2. Support vocational teachers in integrating English skills into their courses.
3. Help identify student needs through diagnostic assessments.
4. Create innovative learning materials such as schemes of work, lesson plans, and individual learning plans.
5. Collaborate with a supportive team and share your ideas.
What we're looking for:
6. A teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd/L5 Diploma) or a willingness to get a Level 5 Diploma.
7. Strong subject knowledge in English.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. A proven track record of delivering engaging and effective lessons.
10. A collaborative and team-oriented spirit.
