Proposed Interview Date: 15th December 2025 The role The Renewables Technical Manager will act as the primary technical expert for renewable energy installations. This role ensures that all projects meet design specifications, quality standards, and compliance requirements. The individual will provide expert guidance to subcontractors and customers, resolve technical queries, and make informed decisions on installation methodologies including Air Source Heat Pumps, Solar PV, Battery Storage, and Electrical installations such as Electrical Storage Heaters and Ventilation. The role will also oversee compliance for NICEIC, Gas Safe and MCS standards The right fit Minimum Level 3 Electrical qualification (NVQ or equivalent). 18th edition wiring regulations qualification Proven experience in technical management within the renewables sector. Understanding of health & safety requirements and compliance frameworks. Strong technical knowledge of renewable energy systems (solar PV, battery storage, heat pumps, etc.). Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Experience auditing installations and managing subcontractor performance. Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards (MCS, G98/G99, BS7671). Who we are Ecogee specialise in providing both retrofit and new build solutions that make homes more energy efficient.
