The Role
As a Junior Talent Acquisition Consultant, you will workclosely with our clients to support them to develop and implement efficient andeffective recruitment strategies to ensure they have the right people in theright place at the right time.
The day-to-day duties will vary, but will include:
* Preparation, posting, and management of job adverts.
* Management and maintenance of applicant tracking systems
* Screening and assessment of job applicants, providingfeedback to all candidates in a timely manner
* Utilising and developing behavioural assessment tools andbest practices.
* Arranging and coordinating interviews
* Updating and maintaining company documents
* Contributing to analysis and sharing of industry relevantinformation via the company social media pages and website
Requirements
To succeed in this role, the following personal characteristicsare essential, and if invited to an interview these will be core themes of theconversation:
* Passion for building positive relationships with people. This is a people-centric position with much of your time speaking to andworking with a variety of personalities.
* You need to be very organised. Understanding yourdaily and weekly objectives and having the ability to ensure you achieve themwithout continuous direction is essential, and this will not be possiblewithout effective organisation skills.
* Resilience is imperative. It is an incredibly competitivecandidate market within the sectors we support, and this means you can doeverything right but still not achieve the desired outcome. Being able to staypositive and motivated through these circumstances will be the differencebetween you enjoying the role or not.
In addition to the personal characteristics, the followingskills and experience is required:
* High level of proficiency with IT systems. This is a largelydesk-based role working with several continuously evolving pieces of software,so the ability to develop your skills along sider this is essential.
* Creativity and research skills. Sourcing niche skills in acompetitive marketplace is a combination of art and science. The ability to conductenhanced research into an area or a skill set is essential, but the true valueis gained when you use that information to consider new ways to find and engagewith people.
Customer service, business to business sales, or accountmanagement experience will be beneficial.
