Job Responsibilities
1.Route Planning:Create and optimize daily delivery routes for bulky items based on order volume, geography, and resource availability
2.Schedule Coordination:Align delivery appointments with customer availability and service constraints (e.g., 2-person delivery, installation slots)
3.Carrier & Driver Coordination:Assign deliveries to internal and external transport partners and ensure all instructions are communicated clearly
4.Load Planning:Optimize truckloads to maximize vehicle utilization while respecting size/weight constraints and delivery priorities
5.System Management:Use TMS and WMS to track delivery status, assign routes, and update real-time changes
6.Exception Handling:Monitor delivery progress, resolve disruptions (e.g., failed deliveries, delays), and communicate proactively with customer service teams
7.Performance Monitoring:Track KPIs such as on-time delivery rate, failed delivery ratio, and average delivery cost
8.Continuous Improvement:Identify inefficiencies and collaborate with warehouse and transport teams to improve planning accuracy and delivery speed
Job Requirements
1.4+ years experience in transport, logistics planning, or distribution scheduling (bulky item or white-glove delivery is a strong plus)
2.Solid understanding of route optimization and fleet scheduling principles
3.Experience with TMS/WMS tools (e.g., Transwide, SAP TM, ORTEC, Manhattan, etc.)
4.Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
5.High level of accuracy and attention to detail
6.Good communication skills in English;
7.Familiarity with last-mile delivery challenges, especially for large/fragile products
