SEN EYFS Teaching Assistant Location: Teignbridge Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Ongoing Pay: £90 - £95 per day We are currently seeking a skilled and proactive SEN EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and energetic Early Years classroom supporting pupils with complex needs. About the Role: This is an immediate start, ongoing position working within an established team (Teacher + 2 TAs). You will support a small group of 6 pupils, most of whom are pre-verbal or non-verbal, with some new to a school setting. The classroom is lively and fast-paced, requiring someone with: •Clear spoken English ( to support speech and language development) •Strong communication skills and confidence using visual or alternative communication methods •A calm, resilient, and hands-on approach Ideal Candidate Will Have: •Proven experience supporting children with SEN in EYFS or primary •Experience with Makaton, PECs, or AAC devices (desirable but not essential) •A proactive and energetic attitude •Strong behaviour management and sensory awareness Requirements: •Must be comfortable working in an active, high-energy environment •Able to work as part of a collaborative and supportive team • comfortable with Personal care, nappy changing etc Why Join Us? •Supportive and experienced classroom team •Opportunity to make a real impact with children at the start of their educational journey •Ongoing role with potential for long-term placement Apply NOW INDDEV
