Overview
We have a very exciting opportunity to join a European tier 1 automotive supplier in a new role as they establish their UK operation which will play a key role in shaping supply chain performance while driving operational excellence.
Responsibilities
* Define and implement supply chain strategy in line with company and plant objectives
* Lead a cross-functional team and ensure alignment with KPIs and budget targets
* Manage end-to-end supply chain processes: inbound, inventory, outbound, and production planning
* Foster a lean culture and identify cost-saving opportunities
* Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and customers
* Ensure compliance with internal procedures and customer requirements
Skills and Experience
* Demonstrated experience in a supply chain management role, ideally within a matrix manufacturing organisation
* Experience gained within the automotive sector is highly desirable
* Project management skills and experience in start-up environments/setting up supply chain operations
* Adaptability to operate within an evolving operational structure
* Master's degree in Logistics, Engineering, or equivalent education or experience
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in a management role, 5 years in a logistics environment
* Strong knowledge of Excel is essential
