The Project Support Officer role involves supporting project delivery through managing processes, coordinating activities, and ensuring project objectives are met. Responsibilities include:
* Implementing planning and scheduling systems
* Maintaining project controls
* Producing status reports and researching information
* Managing compliance with guidelines and legislation, including health, safety, equality, and security
* Supporting workforce planning and procurement within delegated authority
* Building stakeholder relationships
* Drafting correspondence and managing project responses
* Monitoring project budgets and developing business cases
* Maintaining asset registers, risk logs, and issue logs
* Participating in the Defra Project Delivery Profession Community
