About the Role
You can - t get any more front line than caring for people in their ownhome environment where the clinical care that you provide as a healthprofessional is going to make a real difference to an individual - s healthstatus.
The role involves working across South Canterbury, working rosteredshifts, as some to meet needs of the service and clients and may includeoccasional weekends.
You would be working closely with taking directives from visitingRegistered Nurses, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Palliative Care Nurses andPrimary Care providers within the area and will be an integral part of the HeathNew Zealand - South Canterbury, DistrictNursing team.
About you
Ideally you will have community experience and apassion for providing care that supports people in their own home. You will demonstrate effective planning andprioritisation skills and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues,patients/clients, and their families/whanau.
* Ability to prioritise workload and be responsible for ownstandard of practice, delivering a safe and effective patient focused service
* Able to take direction from Registered Health Professionals
* A current New Zealand Practicing Certificate
* Full and clean New Zealand driver - s licenceand be able to drive safely

Salary Range
Thisrole is covered by the terms and conditions of the Nursing Collective, and thesalary will be in accordance with the Pay Scale, and dependent on relevantexperience.
