Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sous Chef located in Bournemouth. The Sous Chef will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in the daily operations of the kitchen, including preparing and presenting high-quality dishes, managing kitchen staff, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring efficient kitchen operations. The Sous Chef will also contribute to menu development and help train junior kitchen staff to maintain the high standards of Hilton Bournemouth's dining offerings.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar culinary role
* Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety standards
* Ability to manage kitchen staff and coordinate kitchen activities
* Skilled in preparing and presenting high-quality dishes
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Creativity and passion for culinary arts
* Culinary degree or relevant certification is advantageous
