Roles and Responsibilities:
* Create, deliver and monitor KPI's relating to cost, OTD, quality, service and continuity of supply.
* Prepare RFQs, manage tender processes, and ensure robust evaluation criteria are in place to select optimal suppliers.
* Build and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers.
* Expedite purchased parts as and when required to support production requirements.
* Negotiate the most competitive prices from suppliers at the best possible terms and negotiate the most competitive Shipping Terms and Rates continually.
* Work with logistics operations to ensure incoming and outgoing shipments are cleared through customs, items are dispatched in a timely manner, assist with packing and shipping.
* Provide direct support to Supply Chain Manager to design and implement new processes.
* Develop our continuous improvement culture within our Supply Chain.
Requirements:
* Experience working in a manufacturing/engineering environment.
* Continuous improvement mindset.
* Supervisory experience is desirable for this role.
* Experience of working in a procurement role.
