Solicitor Wanted – SCCO Costs Dispute (Barristers Appointed) We are seeking a solicitor with experience in legal costs disputes to assist in an ongoing matter before the Senior Courts Costs Office (SCCO). About the Case: Part 8 proceedings underway at the SCCO involving a dispute over solicitor-client costs under a terminated conditional fee agreement (CFA). Key issues include enforceability, procedural defects, misrepresentation, and negligence. Experienced counsel has already been appointed to advise and act at hearing. We now require solicitor-level support to manage the case file, coordinate with counsel, and handle correspondence and filings. We’re Looking For: A solicitor experienced in SCCO matters, ideally with a background in costs litigation or professional negligence. Ability to engage promptly to support upcoming deadlines. Willingness to act on a private or conditionally funded basis (LEI funding in progress and may cover solicitor fees retrospectively). Why Join Us: Work alongside an engaged client, respected counsel, and a fully scoped defence. Opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a professionally significant dispute with wider regulatory implications. Interested?
