About the Role
* Provide high-quality teaching, learning, and pastoral support to pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
* Deliver an engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum that supports pupils’ academic progress, communication, independence, and emotional well‑being.
* Create a nurturing, inclusive, and structured environment where every child can flourish. Support pupils with communication and interaction needs through personalised approaches and targeted interventions.
* Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, families, and external professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for pupils.
* Promote inclusion across the wider school community.
* Inspire curiosity, confidence, resilience, and a love of learning in all pupils.
* Contribute to the continued development of our inclusive practice and provision within the Sunshine Room.
* Lead and support staff within the provision, ensuring high expectations and continuous improvement.
