Job Title: Administrative Assistant – Records Filing & Sorting (Contract)
Job Description
A manufacturing and distribution company is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to support their team with administrative and records management responsibilities. This is a fully on-site, contract role ideal for someone with strong clerical skills and a proactive, positive attitude.
Responsibilities
* Sort, file, and organize physical and digital records.
* Maintain accurate documentation and ensure proper recordkeeping.
* Assist with general administrative tasks such as data entry and document scanning.
* Support internal teams with document retrieval and filing needs.
* Ensure confidentiality and compliance with company policies.
Essential Skills
* Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role preferred.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Proficient in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
* Ability to lift and move boxes of files as needed.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Comfortable working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
* Experience in document control and record retention.
Work Environment
This role will be fully on-site in a dedicated workspace within the manufacturing and distribution facility. The position follows a Monday to Friday schedule during standard business hours.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
