Electrician – Control Panels and Switchgear (Manufacturing)
Location: Nottingham, NG11
Salary: Up to £37,000 per annum
Hours: Full-Time, Permanent
Working Pattern: Monday to Thursday, 7:15am – 5:30pm (4-day week)
Essential Qualifications
* 17th / 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification
* JIB/ECS Gold Card
Additional Experience and Skills
* Proven experience as an Electrician in control panel or switchgear assembly
* Strong ability to interpret 3-phase electrical schematics and CAD-generated drawings
* Skilled in using hand and power tools to a professional standard
* Excellent communication and fault-finding skills
* Self-motivated, detail-focused, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

The successful Electrician will:
* Assemble and wire electrical control panels and low-voltage switchgear
* Work accurately from detailed drawings and CAD layouts
* Ensure all systems meet strict quality and safety standards
* Support the upkeep of workshop tools and equipment
* Collaborate with colleagues to meet production targets
* Maintain a safe, organised, and efficient working environment
