Director, Business Development, Chesterfield

We are seeking ambitious sales professionals with MedTech/Device and clinical trial sales experience who are looking for a new challenge.
Key Responsibilities:
* Be accountable for achieving individual annual sales targets with sponsor and biotech clients.
* Lead the sales process independently, including planning and executing sales activities.
* Assist in identifying bid defense team participants and educate them on client culture, operational needs, and sales techniques.
* Identify potential global key accounts independently.
* Prepare sponsor presentations, including general capabilities and bid defense presentations.
* Research and identify potential growth areas through market analysis and understanding of the competitive landscape.
The Director, Business Development role is an individual contributor position focused on acquiring new accounts and business development, offering opportunities to sell our comprehensive capabilities in the MedTech/device sector.
We are hiring in the United Kingdom or Europe (Spain, Germany, and/or Netherlands).
Candidate Requirements:
* At least 5 years of CRO sales, client relationship, or commercial experience with a proven track record in selling complex, multi-service offerings.
* Proven hunter and new business winner.
* Ability to independently lead regional sales strategies and processes.
* Ability to provide regular sales metrics to senior management.
* Experience in lead generation and business development.
* In-depth knowledge of how a CRO operates, gained from working within a full-service CRO.
