Duties
* Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
* Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
* Select and mix colours to achieve desired effects and ensure consistency across projects.
* Communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision and provide expert advice on colour choices and finishes.
* Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
* Drive to various job sites as required, ensuring timely arrival and completion of projects.
Experience
* Proven experience in painting and decorating is essential for enthusiastic candidates willing to apply.
* Ability to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing, to interact with clients and team members effectively.
* A valid driving license is advantageous for travelling between job sites.
* Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
* Good organizational skills with ability to prioritize to meet deadlines.
* Working knowledge of different hand tools
