RG Consultancy are working with an excellent, well-established civil engineering company based in Ashton-in-Makerfield who are looking to add an Accounts Assistant to their small friendly finance team. Reporting to and supporting the Accounts Manager, this Accounts Assistant role will be responsible for dealing with a range of day-to-day finance duties across the department with a focus on the purchase ledger. Duties include: Processing purchase invoices Dealing with supplier queries Preparing suppler payments Suppler statement reconciliations Bank reconciliations Reconciling the cashbook Working with Sage Additional tasks such as raising sales invoices, assisting with payroll, ad hoc accounts duties. This Accounts Assistant role is suited to an experienced person who can cover all aspects of accounts and likewise they are happy to train and develop someone in areas they haven't covered before.
