The Fraud Team at DWF is seeking a motivated paralegal with expertise in fraud claims to join our dynamic team in Leeds.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, assisting with complex fraud and motor litigation cases for a wide variety of clients.
The successful candidate will be based in our Leeds office with the option of a hybrid working arrangement.
Responsibilities
* Assist fee earners with a diverse caseload of fraud motor cases, from inception to resolution.
* Conducting thorough investigations, including gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses.
* Maintain accurate records and case files using the firm’s case management system.
* Liaise with clients and external parties, providing updates and ensuring case progression.
* Review and assess motor insurance claims, identifying potential fraud indicators.
* Collaborate with clients, insurers, and other parties to obtain necessary evidence and documentation.
* Researching to support legal strategies and case development.
What will help you succeed in this role?
Essential
* Previous paralegal experience infraudormotor insurance claimsis essential.
* Strong knowledge of the UK legal system and civil litigation process.
* Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
Desirable
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Proficiency in legal research and using case management software.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
