About the Role As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with teachers and SENCOs to provide personalised support across EYFS to KS2. Whether through one-on-one sessions or small group interventions, your role will be vital in helping children overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities of SEN Teaching Assistant ( SEN TA) Support teachers in planning and delivering inclusive learning experiences. Provide targeted interventions for children with a range of SEN needs. Foster a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment. Monitor and record student progress, contributing to reviews and planning. Collaborate with staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure holistic support. Requirements for SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) Experience working across EYFS to KS2. Proven experience supporting children with SEN. A genuine passion for inclusive education and child development. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Relevant qualifications or training in SEN or education (desirable). Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
