Castlefield Recruitment is working with a highly reputable organisation in Yorkshire that is looking to recruit a Payroll Team Leader for their team on a permanent basis. The role offers hybrid working, generous annual leave, and other great benefits.
Duties:
1. Oversee the monthly payroll process, ensuring it is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
2. Serve as the first point of contact for internal stakeholders to resolve payroll-related queries and provide payroll advice.
3. Process payroll reconciliations and pension administration.
4. Implement process improvements where required.
5. Develop the payroll team's customer service and ensure performance targets are met.
Experience:
* Previous experience using iTrent payroll system, SAP, Oracle, or Resource Link.
* Strong understanding of PAYE legislation, HMRC requirements, and payroll compliance.
* Experience managing end-to-end payroll and demonstrating strong leadership skills.
* Ability to produce technical reports based on payroll data.
