Venue Hire Manager – Norwich

Norfolk Museums Service is looking to recruit a Venue Hire Manager to manage the delivery and development of the Norwich Museums Venue Hire offer across four sites. The successful candidate will lead a small team of Business Support Assistants, promote and deliver venue hire and other commercial activities, and maximize income generation opportunities while ensuring high quality outcomes.


Responsibilities

* Develop and promote the venue hire offer at Norwich Castle Museum and other Norwich museum sites.
* Manage day‑to‑day delivery of venue hire events and related commercial activities.
* Lead a small team of Business Support Assistants, providing guidance and support.
* Maximise income generation opportunities through effective marketing and sales strategies.
* Ensure the quality of venue hire services meets the expectations of heritage sites and guests.


Qualifications

* Passion for heritage sites and a proven track record in marketing and delivering commercial venue hire events.
* Experience in venue hire, event management, or a related commercial role.
* Strong communication, organisational and leadership skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
* Good broadband connectivity and willingness to work hybrid or remotely when required.
