This is a flexible, bank role supporting our catering service across the hospice, helping to maintain a welcoming, safe and hygienic environment for everyone we care for. Job Details: Location: St Peter & St James Hospice, BN8 4ED Salary: £12.71 - £12.87 per hour (equivalent to £24,856 - £25,168 per annum, full-time equivalent) Working Hours: Bank / ad-hoc hours to cover service needs, sickness and annual leave Shifts: Typically 10:30am – 4:30pm, Monday to Sunday (flexibility to cover a range of shifts is desirable) Contract Type: Bank (casual) Closing Date: Applications will be reviewed as they are received – early applications are encouraged What you’ll do: Assist with basic food preparation and support meal service. Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen and dining environment. Complete daily cleaning tasks in line with food safety and hygiene standards. Provide a friendly, professional and helpful service to patients, visitors and colleagues. What we’re looking for: A reliable team player with good communication skills. Previous catering experience and Food Hygiene Level 2 certification are desirable, but not essential (training can be provided).
