HR MI Analyst
Location: [Solihull/Hybrid]
About the Role
We’re looking for an ambitious and detail-oriented HR MI Analyst to join our Reward Team at Tarmac. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on data, enjoys solving problems, and is passionate about delivering high-quality insights to support business decision-making.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering HR reporting and dashboards, supporting key business cycles, and driving continuous improvement across HR MI processes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver a suite of HR reports and dashboards to key stakeholders in line with an annual schedule
2. Manage and respond to HR MI queries, ensuring delivery in line with service level agreements (SLAs)
3. Interpret stakeholder requirements and provide insightful, data-driven solutions
4. Support HR surveys and ad-hoc reporting requests
5. Maintain and update SAP organisational structures
6. Perform mass data updates and cleansing activities (e.g., SuccessFactors fields)
7. Support the Reward Team during key business cycles (e.g., salary reviews, bonus processes, year-end activities)
8. Identify opportunities to streamline and automate reporting processes
9. Maintain accurate documentation, including SOPs and reporting guides
10. Ensure all data is handled in compliance with GDPR and internal policies
11. Build strong relationships with HR, Finance, and wider business stakeholders
12. Provide support to the HR MI Manager and contribute to ongoing projects and improvementsWhat We’re Looking For
Skills & Experience
13. Advanced Excel skills (macros desirable)
14. Working knowledge of Power Query and Power BI
15. Experience handling large datasets and combining data from multiple sources
16. Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail
17. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy
18. Proven problem-solving capability and a proactive approach to continuous improvement
19. Excellent organisational and time management skills
20. Strong verbal and written communication skills
21. Ability to manage multiple priorities and conflicting deadlines

Qualifications
29. GCSE (or equivalent) Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths (required)
30. Advanced SAP and Excel knowledge (required)
31. Knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors (desirable)
32. Working towards a CIPD qualification (desirable)
