You will work across all areas of production, including Assembly, Surface Mount Technology (SMT), and low-level testing. The role involves building a wide range of compact and complex RF assemblies, following detailed work instructions and engineering drawings. This is a hands-on position requiring precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality. Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 7.30am - 3.30pm or 8am - 4pm Hours: 37.5 per week Overtime: During peak times, overtime is available for those seeking extra hours. Overtime pay is compensated at one and a half times the regular rate. Location: This position is located at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. Coldwell Radio Station, B4348, Hereford HR2 9NE Key Accountabilities Assemble RF Components: Build a wide range of RF products, including compact and complex assemblies, following detailed work instructions and engineering drawings. Perform Functional Testing: Carry out precise testing of RF components using specialised equipment, ensuring performance meets required specifications. Ensure Quality Standards: Inspect and verify components throughout the assembly and test process, identifying and addressing any defects or non-conformities. Support Continuous Improvement: Actively contribute to process improvements by suggesting enhancements and participating in problem-solving activities. Maintain Accurate Records: Complete all required production and test documentation accurately and promptly to support traceability and quality control.
