An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and motivated Band 6 Paediatric Nurses to join the Rainbow Centre for Children and Young People at Newham University Hospital.
We are looking for nurses who are passionate about delivering high-quality, child-centred care to acutely unwell children and young people, and who are keen to further develop their leadership and clinical skills within a supportive multidisciplinary
Main duties of the job
1. Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to children and young people within an acute paediatric setting
2. Act as a Band 6 nurse in charge, providing clinical leadership and supporting junior staff
3. Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to ensure high standards of care
4. Support and contribute to service development, quality improvement, and audit
5. Act as a role model for professional practice, in line with Trust values and NMC standards
6. Recognise personal limitations and escalate concerns appropriately
