Production Manager (Progression to Production Director)
Colne, Lancashire (On-Site)
£50,000 – £60,000 + Bonus (OTE £55,000 – £65,000)

The Opportunity
KO2’s client is an established and growing engineering business entering a major phase of manufacturing transformation.
They are looking for a Production Manager to take ownership of the production function, with a clear pathway to Production Director within 12 months. This is a hands-on role with real influence—ideal for someone who wants to step up, drive change, and progress into senior leadership.
The Role
You’ll lead a production reset, focusing on quality, process, and performance:
* Own end-to-end production operations
* Implement structured processes and quality controls
* Introduce FTPR (First Time Pass Rate) and production metrics
* Develop in-process and end-of-line testing systems
* Drive continuous improvement and root cause analysis
* Build a high-performance, accountable team
About You
* Strong background in production engineering
* Electro-mechanical experience essential
* Proven experience in test, quality, and process improvement
* Comfortable with data, systems, and digital tools
* Ambitious, hands-on, and driven to progress
Progression
This role is designed as a Director pathway:
* Start as Production Manager (Delegate Director level)
* Promotion to Production Director within 12 months
* Enhanced package including bonus and potential equity (EMI)
