The Legal Counsel will work closely with senior leadership to provide strategic legal advice, manage risk, and support business growth. The role involves drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, advising on compliance and regulatory matters, and overseeing legal operations in the UK.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide legal support across all areas of the UK businessDraft and negotiate commercial contracts with customers, suppliers, and partnersAdvise on legal risk and compliance, including data privacy and corporate governanceSupport enterprise risk management and legal compliance initiativesCollaborate with internal stakeholders and external counselDeliver legal training and raise awareness of legal issues across the businessSupervise and develop a UK-based contracts paralegalAssist the Regional General Counsel on European legal matters as neededAbout YouQualified solicitor with 7–10 years PQEExperience in financial services, automotive, or fleet management sectors preferredStrong background in commercial contracts, compliance, and transactional workKnowledge of data privacy, IP, and licensing is a plusExcellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skillsStrategic thinker with strong business acumen and a collaborative mindsetComfortable working independently and influencing at all levelsWhat’s on OfferA collaborative and values-driven cultureOpportunities for professional development and growthA chance to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic, evolving business
