We are looking for an organised Canteen Attendant to join the team here at St Ermin’s Hotel. Part-Time Weekend Role: Saturdays and Sundays, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM.

As a Canteen Weekend Attendant you
will ensure to maintain the cleanliness of the canteen at all times, this
includes floors, walls, tables, chairs, service counters, drinks machines,
kitchen area, wash up area, cutlery and crockery.
What will you be doing?
* prepare ingredients for meals, including chopping, slicing, peeling, and washing vegetables, fruits, and meats.
* cook a variety of dishes, such as soups, stews, curries, stir-fries, and main courses, following recipes or instructions from the canteen chef.
* ensuring compliance with
sanitation, hygiene, health and safety legislation and organisational and
quality requirements.
* assist in the
preparation of beverages, both hot and cold.
* assist in the
preparation and cooking of food.
* assist in the quality
management of food and beverages.
* assist generally in the
kitchen as directed.
* help set an example for
other kitchen team members of commitment, work ethic and habits and personal
character.
* responsibly use
resources and help control expenses.
* adhere to all
organisation policies and procedures.
