The Events and Experiences Co-ordinator at Duxford manages the development, planning and operation of several commercial activities based around IWM’s collection of historic exhibits. This role will oversee, manage and deliver a variety of commercial activities from Site Hire and Car Clubs, Ticketed Events and Experiences such as Photography Evenings, Birthday Parties and development of Major Events such as the IWM History Festival.
They will also be creating content for our other experiences, such as aircraft for photoshoots, and speakers for lecture days. The successful individual will be responsible for ensuring events are delivered on time and to the set budgets, while also ensuring that all participants have a great time.
As such, the post holder will need experience of delivering and planning events in a historic venue and working in a heritage site, confident in planning and delivering events. Managing budgets and a good attention to detail are also key skills in this role.
