Job Description
The duties and responsibilities for this role include -
3. ensure invoices are available to pay within the agreed terms
4. Processing purchase order requests within the finance system, ensuring that they are appropriately authorised and coded
5. Receive and prepare all income for banking. Carry out the banking and input control journal
6. Process staff expenses in the payroll and accounting system in line with internal policy and HMRC regulations
7. Process supply and overtime claims in the payroll system
8. Raise debtor invoices in the accounting system
9. Monitoring and resolution of aged debtors, supporting the debt collection process in a timely manner by producing reports and escalating debt issues when necessary
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate for the Finance Assistant will have -
10. Practical experience of working within a Finance environment
11. Team player, guiding and working towards the aims of the department
12. Strong organisation, prioritisation and time management skills
13. Good administration skills and experience
