Substance Misuse Nurse – Kent Location: Kent Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM) Contract: 3 months (with strong potential for extension) Pay Rate: £35 per hour (Ltd) About the Role: Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Substance Misuse Nurse to join one of our clients’ teams in Kent. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals affected by substance misuse. Key Responsibilities: Conduct physical and mental health assessments for service users and ensure appropriate referrals to primary or secondary healthcare services. Complete assessments for all alcohol service users in line with the Alcohol Policy and determine safe detoxification plans. Assist with titration for opiate service users to achieve optimal OST dosing, maintaining clear communication with team members and community pharmacists. Provide education, health promotion, and screening for blood-borne viruses (BBV). Administer Hepatitis B vaccinations where indicated.
