Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Colleague Head Chef at Fairmont St Andrews. You will oversee the smooth operation of the Staff Canteen and ensure all areas meet the high standards of Fairmont St Andrews.
This role is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan menus and conduct tasting sessions.
2. Manage the canteen operations efficiently.
3. Provide clear instructions and guidance to junior team members.
4. Prepare daily food items according to requirements.
5. Ensure staff meals are prepared and served to the highest standards.
6. Monitor food preparation daily, focusing on portion control, size, quantity, and quality as per the receipt index.
7. During service, personally oversee the food counter to ensure presentation and quality meet established standards.
Qualifications
1. Experience in a similar role.
2. Ability to foster good employee relations.
3. Eligibility to work in the UK.
